Timeline of Italia Bakery's Origins

— At age 13, in Cesenatico, Italy, a young boy began learning the art of baking from master bakers.

In 1964, he moved to Montreal, Canada, where he continued his baking career at a renowned boulangerie.

In 1966, he and his father opened Fortuna Bakery in Montreal and successfully operated it for 8 years.

In 1973, they sold the Montreal location and relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, where they opened a new bakery, also named Fortuna Bakery.

In 1985, they renamed the Vancouver location to Italia Bakery, which has continued to serve the community to this day.
