A Legacy of Tradition Since 1966
The story began in Cesenatico, Italy, where a young baker honed his craft from the age of 13. After moving to Montreal in 1964, he opened the first Fortuna Bakery in 1966. In 1973, the bakery relocated to Vancouver, continuing under the same name until 1985, when it became Italia Bakery. Since then, Italia Bakery has carried on a tradition of authentic Italian baking, serving the community with quality and care for decades. For a more detailed look at our journey, see the timeline below!
