How We Evolved
In the small town of Cesenatico, Italy, a young baker began his journey at the age of 13, learning from the best in the trade. In 1964, he relocated to Montreal, Canada, where he continued his baking career at a renowned boulangerie.
In 1966, this ambitious young baker, along with his father, established their own bakery store called "Fortuna Bakery," which they successfully operated for 8 years. In 1973, they sold "Fortuna Bakery" in Montreal and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. Drawing on their successful experience in Montreal, they opened another bakery in Vancouver, also named "Fortuna Bakery". In 1985, the bakery's name was changed to "Italia Bakery," which has been running to this day.
